Neuromuscular (Trigger Point) Therapy (NMT)
Ever felt a tight spot in your shoulder? Any tingling in your hands? A headache? Whiplash? Sciatica? Low back pain? Feet and calf pain? If you answered yes to any of these questions, then you are likely a great candidate for NMT (also known as trigger point work).
After twenty-two years in practice, as well as nine years of teaching, I can help you with my detailed knowledge of your muscles, where the muscles hold tension, and where they refer pain and unwanted sensations. All of this experience is applied to help discover the causes and contribute to the relief of your tension and discomfort.
During the session I will use specific pressure on your trigger points, and add warming and soothing strokes to give you great results while working within your comfort zone.
We can also discuss your posture, work, recreation, sleeping, and other habits in order to look at simple steps you can take to speed up your progress towards feeling better.
